What a live production really means
What the audience sees: a seamless show.
What’s behind it: a passionate and highly professional team, lots of technology, and precise coordination.
At the Swiss Indoor Athletics Championships, that meant: direction, directors, multiple camera positions, speakers in two languages, livestream, and local TV – everything runs in parallel, everything interlocks perfectly.
For me as a moderator, it was two intense days: keeping the overview, reacting quickly, hitting the right tone, and conducting interviews that both entertain and provide context and added value – for every discipline, every athlete, male and female.
Such events show once again just how much teamwork goes into a successful production.
