Hosting the iconic GP Gippingen
Switzerland was at the center of international cycling action this past weekend. Racing started on Friday with the iconic GP Gippingen, a single day road race that traditionally precludes the Tour de Suisse and – this year – the newly launched Tour de Suisse Women. Despite truly wet conditions, it was a pleasure to host NEP Switzerland’s live broadcast from the GP for TV 24, including a live interview with Olympic champion Nino Schurter. Just a great way to start ten days of world class cycling across Switzerland.
